BIBLE SCHOOL
DATE: June 21st through 25th. We plan on having commencement on the 25th, but haven’t decided on a location. We will start on the 21st instead of the 20th because Father’s Day falls on the 20th. Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM and VBS will conclude each night at 8:00 PM.
A “New Member’s Class” will be taught during the Sunday school hour starting on July 4th. This class is for anyone interested in becoming a member of Enon. By taking the class you are not obligated to become a member, but can make that decision during or after the class is completed. Pastor Boone will be teaching the class.
AWANA: Sunday PM
WHEN: We will be starting in August, when students go back to school
NOTE: Until then there will be youth activities every Sunday night
Our 2 greatest needs right now are volunteers for a nursery class during Wed and Sunday PM Services, as well as during Sunday School. If we don’t have enough willing to do these ministries then we will not ask those already active in ministries to do these. This is a great opportunity to begin serving this body of believers. Some families would come to these services if we provided something for their kids this age. Contact Pastor Toby Anderson or Pastor Jason Worley if you are interested in volunteering. Thanks.

C.O.M.E Update
The children have been collecting money for the “Coins for Milk” program, in conjunction with Samaritans Purse. So far they have donated $60, enough money to buy 15 children milk for a week. We have helped 4 families with clothing, the closet is open to any child with a Medicaid card, please continue to donate clothing as the Fire Chief put out our info to all 9 fire stations this week, so everything will start moving quickly. We still have some emergency food boxes available. We now have a fundraising website where anyone can donate to the milk project, you can also watch the amount grow. http://www.firstgiving.com/childrenonmissionatenon
Some really exciting news as of this week: C.O.M.E has” adopted” the children of missionaries Derek and Kim Spain. They are Grant age 12, Andrew age 9, and Emma age 6. We will be exchanging letters and photos as well as sending care packages. Derek is the Pastor of Lake Placid Baptist Church in NY, and runs North Country Ministries. He has a resort ministry at the Winter Olympic village and was chaplain at the Olympic Games. If any of our adult Sunday school classes are interested in adopting the parents, please let me know.
